Bloodless Mushroom BioBloodless Mushroom started in 1997 with a few tracker-based songs. Since then the tracker roots have been left behind and the music has evolved into an instrumental electronic project that combines elements of ambient and international music to create soundscapes and video game soundtracks. It is the project of one person, Jason Champion, who is a multi-instrumentalist skilled with bass, guitar, synthesizer, and drums. In addition to playing physical and virtual instruments, some of the sounds of Bloodless Mushroom come from custom-programmed audio software, some of which is avaiable as open-source. Originally from the snowy lakes of Michigan, he spent the 2010s creating music from the soggy forests of Oregon and now lives in the pastures of Uruguay. Bloodless Mushroom has collaborated with Dr. Kilpatient on their Prototype IV Soundtrack album, which included variants of tracks found on the Spores album. |
